On Friday, August 16 at 6 a.m., the Burke-Gilman Trail will be closed through Sunday, August 18 at 6 p.m. for tree removal work performed by UW Grounds. The Burke Gilman Trail will be closed from the south side of Pend Oreille to the north side of Snohomish Lane. The overpass crossings at Whatcom Lane and Wahkiakum Road will remain open during this closure.

Bike commuters and cyclists are encouraged to use alternate routes in the meantime.
