With many students gone during summer quarter, various construction projects will be taking place on or around campus that may impact your commute. We will continue to update this website as new information becomes available. Be sure to check back often for the most updated information.

Bus stop closures, July 29 through August 30 

Two construction projects on campus will impact bus service on Stevens Way from Monday, July 29 through Friday, August 30. The bus stop closure map below shows the bus stop closures, alternate stops and temporary stops. You can also download this map (pdf).

Bus stop closures and alternate stops (revised 8/21):

Effective Wednesday, 8/21, King County Metro has changed the alternate stops for routes 31, 32, 65, 67, 75 and 372. These routes will now travel both ways on NE Pacific and will NOT travel on NE 45th St. Get the latest information on reroutes from King County Metro and Community Transit.

  • Route 277 - Juanita (Southbound)
  • Route 372 - Cascadia College/UW Bothell/Kenmore (Northbound & Southbound)

  • Route 810 - McCollum Park (Southbound)
  • Route 821 - Marysville (Southbound)
  • Route 855 - Lynnwood (Southbound)

If you need further accessibility resources to get to and from your work location, our Dial-A-Ride shuttle may be an option worth exploring.

New Population Health Building

August 16 - 30

To help facilitate the continued construction of the new Population Health building, a portion of Stevens Way will be closed from Friday, August 16 - Friday, August 30. The closure segment spans from Grant Lane crossing to Asotin crossing and will affect cars, buses, bicycles and pedestrians.

Vehicle traffic on Stevens Way

Southbound Stevens Way traffic will be redirected through Okanogon Lane around Benson Hall and the Chemistry Library building, ultimately flowing back onto Stevens Way.

Pedestrian walkways in closure area

Pedestrians will be rerouted around closure area as indicated in the map above. 

N22 Upgrade Project

The N22 lot will be closed July 8 through late September for construction. This work will upgrade the lot to comply with the most recent accessibility standards. From July 29 to August 15, a portion of Stevens Way near the lot was closed.
