May is Bike Month

May is Bike Everywhere Month at the University of Washington. Whether you are a seasoned cyclist or haven’t been on a bicycle in years, this is the time to enjoy the spring weather and celebrate biking. Learn how you can participate in our Bike Month events below.
Bike Month bingo
How to play
- Pick up your bingo card at the Transportation Services office, the ASUW Bike Shop, or the HUB infodesk.
- Stamp or cross off activities on the spaces of the bingo card as you complete them.
- Return your bingo card to any location listed above by Monday, June 2.
If you have at least four spaces in a row (any direction) filled, you will be eligible for one of the two grand prizes:
- 1 year free of a bike house or bike locker space starting July 2025
- A pair of HOKA shoes
Bike to Work/Campus Day

Wednesday, May 14 - Celebration station
UW is hosting a celebration station on Ride Everywhere Day on from 7 to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14, with snacks and give-aways for participating cyclists. The UW Transportation Services Station will be located on the Burke Gilman Trail, just southwest of the Life Sciences building.

Sustainability bike tour
Thursday, May 15 - Gear up for a green ride
Join UW Sustainability and UW Transportation Services for a lunch hour bike tour of some of UW’s sustainability features. Meet on the north side of the HUB (outside the ASUW Bike Shop) at noon with your bike. We’ll have an easy-paced hourlong ride on campus, with stops to point out sustainable buildings and green spaces on campus.
