The annual bike locker cleaning is scheduled for four full weeks and three weekends during the summer. Beginning July 17, each bike locker on campus will be cleaned and serviced. The cleaning schedule may be impacted by unpredictable factors such as weather, unplanned construction and maintenance emergencies, so we recommend that bike locker permit holders keep their locker empty for the two-week periods outlined in their notification emails.

Any belongings left within lockers will be removed during the cleaning process, and Transportation Services is not responsible for any damaged or misplaced items. If you will be unreachable during this period, please email Transportation Services at commutequestions@uw.edu with your locker bank and locker number (e.g. L32#8).
This annual cleaning is necessary to maintain and keep bike lockers clean. If you need access to secure bike parking during this period of cleaning and unavailability, we are happy to offer temporary bike house access. Please contact commutequestions@uw.edu if you are interested.
