COVID-19: What bike house users need to know
Thursday, May 21, 2020
To protect the health and safety of our bike commuter and bike house permit holders, we will be limiting the maximum occupancy of bike houses at any given time to one individual. This maximum occupancy limit will help facilitate social distancing in bike houses.
Individuals will be instructed via signage at the bike houses to wait until the area within the bike house is clear before entering.
We appreciate your support as a bike commuter to protect the health of yourself and others in the community.
Remember to follow recommended practices to help reduce the spread of COVID-19:
- Stay home and avoid contact with other people if you are feeling unwell or sick to reduce exposure to others including other riders.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If that is not available, use alcohol-based hand sanitizer (with at least 60% alcohol base).
- Cover your mouth/nose with a tissue or your sleeve when coughing or sneezing. Dispose of the tissue after using it.
- Stay informed. Information is changing frequently and it is important to stay on top of developing information.
Stay safe and make your personal health a priority.
