Several of our most popular parking lots are self-serve, allowing you to skip the gatehouse and pay on the spot. Some have pay machines where you enter your license plate number. All of these machines take Visa, MasterCard and American Express. At the E01 lot, you must pay with a credit card at the gate arm entry. Pay by phone parking is available at all self-serve parking lots with the exception of E01.
Follow the directions for the pay machine or gate arm at your lot. It is important to enter your license plate information accurately to avoid the risk of a citation. If you are required to display a parking permit, please put it on your dashboard and make sure it is visible from outside of the vehicle. Refunds are not available, and you may only park in the designated lot.
Parking permits are required Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturdays from 7 a.m. until noon. The self-serve lots and rates listed here do not apply during football games or other large campus events.
Please note: The self-serve pay machines begin accepting payment at 4am and the PayByPhone app accepts payments at 6am on weekdays and 7am on Saturdays. If you plan to arrive before these times, it is important to remember to either pay at the machines or open the PayByPhone app and purchase a permit at 6am on weekdays or 7am on Saturday. You may use the PayByPhone app without returning to your vehicle.

Centrally located, the Central Plaza Garage (CPG) is closest to Meany Hall and the UW Visitors Center. Self-serve parking is available on levels C02, C03 and C04 only. Drivers may bypass the gatehouse, park on levels C02, C03 or C04 and then use Pay by phone to purchase a parking permit.

E07 and E97 are convenient to the Intramural Activities Center (IMA) and other athletic facilities. E17, E19, E20 and E21 are next to Husky Stadium. E01 and E18 are large lots near the recreation fields. E14 is by the golf driving range on Clark Road. E03 and E04 are on Clark Road in the northeastern corner of campus.
The E01 lot has several entrances, with the easiest being from the north off Montlake Boulevard at Walla Walla Road. There are also entrances on Clark Road by the golf driving range and from the south via E18 or Walla Walla Road by the track.
The following rates do not apply during football games or other large campus events.

N01 is the parking lot at the Burke Museum. N06 is off of Whitman Court near the Intellectual House (wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ). N20 and N21 are part of the large Padelford parking garage off Pend Oreille Road. N22 sits alongside Stevens Way just north of the HUB and is available for disability parking only. A state-issued disability placard must be displayed when parking in a disability stall. N25 is a lot on the west side of Montlake Boulevard, near UW Surplus.

Located behind the UW Medical Center, the South Campus Garage may be entered by following Boat Street and bypassing the gatehouse. Self-serve parking is available on the top level, S01, only. Drivers may park on the top level and then use Pay by phone or a pay station to purchase a parking permit.

W10 and W41 are the closest self-serve lots to the West campus dorms. W27 is a garage on 15th Ave., just south of Pacific. W46 is part of the UW Tower garage on 12th Ave between 43rd and 45th streets.
